Valentine’s Day Covered Pretzels

I love pretzels with almond bark. Actually, I love almost anything with almond bark on it. Usually I make these for Christmas but I thought I could make them pink and red for Valentine’s Day. Well I only found red sprinkles but they worked great. They are actually peppermint sprinkles so they would work great for either Christmas or Valentine’s Day.

Kids can help this way, too. My daughter put the sprinkles on some of the pretzels. Just remind them that the almond bark is hot.

Almond bark
pink and/or red sprinkles

Heat 2-3 squares of almond bark in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time until melted. Don’t put it in for too long or it will burn. Dip pretzels in almond bark and place on wax paper. Add sprinkles.

You will want to work quickly so you can use all the almond bark before it cools. It won’t melt as well the second time. You will also need to get the sprinkles on quickly. Having a little helper works great for this step.
