Daily’s Cocktails Review and Giveaway ends 10/16

Normally I keep things pretty family friendly here, but I recently received an opportunity to review Daily’s Cocktails. If you haven’t heard of them, they are drink pouches with alcohol in them, or as my mother in law calls them, “adult juice boxes.” Every mom needs a little break now and then, right?

Daily’s Cocktails are very simple and yummy! You just freeze the pouch and then thaw slightly to drink! You can either run the pouch under warm water for a few seconds or set the pouch on the counter for an hour or so to thaw. When it’s ready, it will be like a slushie. Some stores will have a selection of Daily’s Cocktails in the freezer section so all you have to do is thaw them out to drink. These are great for a party, or just to sit around and relax at home.

Daily’s sent me a $10 Walmart gift card to purchase some drinks for this review. These drinks are normally around $1.99 each, but Walmart had them for $1.88 when I went. I got 6 flavors (and put in a little of my money since these drinks are so yummy): Frozen Lemonade, Pomegranate Acai Margarita, Frozen Peach Daiquiri, Strawberry Daiquiri and their new Hard Cider and Spiced Sangria flavors. I also tried the Margarita flavor before and like it, too.

The Hard Cider and Spiced Sangria flavors can be enjoyed warm, chilled, or frozen. I would have to say that I am not a fan of having the Hard Cider warm, but I also don’t like many warm drinks. These flavors are seasonal and only available for a limited time.

My favorite flavors are the Frozen Peach Daiquiri and the Strawberry Daiquiri. Each of the drinks has a little bit of a sour taste but I think that’s the case with most fruity drinks. These two had the least sour taste to them and that’s why I liked them the best. The other frozen drinks were good though, too.
