This week, I got an awesome package of chips from Beanfields. It included a large bag of the flavors Nacho, Sea Salt, Sea Salt and Pepper, Naturally Unsalted, and Pico de Gallo. I also received a small bag of Nacho and Pico de Gallo.
Beanfields makes chips made of beans and rice. They are gluten-free, cholesterol-free, trans fat-free and preservative-free. They also do not contain any of the eight ingredients that most commonly trigger food allergies. I like that they have double the fiber and protein of most corn tortilla chips or potato chips.
I am not really a fan of beans but these chips were surprisingly good. My favorite is the Pico de Gallo. My 2 year old loves them, too. She constantly asks me for chips at supper time. I try not to keep in the house too often because they are not healthy. I don’t mind giving her Beanfields chips, though, because they are much healthier.
I also like that they have very few ingredients. Here is the ingredient list from the Sea Salt flavor: navy beans, black beans, long grain rice, cold pressed high oleic safflower or sunflower oil, sea salt. That’s only 5 ingredients.

This review is part of the Pitch List. There were a few other bloggers who also got to do a review for Beanfields. The links to their reviews are listed below.

I had no idea they had double the fiber and protein of regular chips! I really need to try these. I’ve been on a huge potato chip kick lately. These sound like a great alternative! Thanks!
These have only five ingredients that make up all the flavor. Wow!!!
